Cynder reached the great leafy branches that marked the spot where the lake was. She thrust her way into the shrubbery, fighting through brambles. Her thick pelt protected her from most of the scars, bur not all. When she finally reached the edge of the lake, she drank her fill of the crystal clear water. Then she looked around, trying to see some place where they might be able to make dens.

Demise followed the Beta out onto the shores of the lake and also started to lok around for a suitable place to home. Plodding out to the left of the large body of water, she shoved her nose into thick brushes, pushing aside debris to search the area more thoroughly. *A den....a den...where are we gonna find a den large enough yet also invisible to human eyes in a place like this? Hmm....perhaps this palce?* Demise poked her muzzle into a large hollow made by several overlapping boulders, hidden behind large thick tree trunks and dense foilage. It certaintly was big enough, but safety from prying creatures...the trees took care of that. It could work.
"Think I found a suitable candidate over here!" she barked back at Cynder and the pups.

Faolain, Weylyn, and Cana lowered their heads to avoid the thorns and sharp leaves that hung overhead until they reached the familiar lake. When they caught up with Cynder the three split up using their snouts attempting to sniff out a new home. Then they heard Demise call that she might have found somewhere, and scampered toward her.

Cynder followed the pups more slowly. She pushed her way over through the brambles and stopped to look at it. She pushed her muzzle into it and squeezed inside. She emerged a minute later. Her eyes gleamed. "This could be just what we're looking for," she told the others. "We would only need to worry about catching prey, and that's easy enough. We have the lake outside our doorstep and the den is safe enough." She nodded at Demise. "I think this would be a very suitable for a den."

Demise nodded and went to explore the new den herself, making sure there weren't anything harmful lying around. Satisfied it was clean, she reemereged into the open.
"Should we go get Brianna?" she questioned, aquinting in the bright sunlight reflecting off the waters. "Or should we wait for her to find us?"
While waiting for a reply, the fae sat down on the ground and watched the pups intently with narrowed amber eyes.

Cynder looked at the pups too. They were scampering happily together. She couldn't help but smile at their antics. Then she turned to survey the den. "I will stay here with the pups," she said loudly and clearly. "Demise, go to Briannia and tell her to come back with you to the new den. Have Kiel come as well." Having issued her order, the Beta squeezed into the den.

Demise silently got up and left, heading back towards their old resting spot to find Brianna and that other one. *What was his name? Oh nevermind, that's not important right now.*

Faolain and Weylyn ran into the den their bright eyes taking everything in. Cana, chasing after them, tripped over a rock and tumbled down the enterance and stopped only when she bumped into Cynder's soft fur. She yelped, "Sorry!" She said, feeling stupid as her siblings laughed at her now dirty pelt.

Cynder grabbed the pup by the scruff of her neck and hoisted her gently onto the warm floor of the den. She licked Cana's coat briskly, then nudged her to the other pups. "It's alright," she said. "Just be more careful in the future."

Demise appeared by the den again, shaking still clinging water droplets out of her fur as well as dry leaves and twigs.
"They're here," was all she said.
She strolled over to the boulders and leapt up onto the top, lying down, and turning to watch the entrance she'd made. Any time now, Brianna and that d**n brute would appear.

"I will...sorry." Cana said again meekly. She didnt look up until she heard her brother and sister yelp with glee, that their mother had returned. She followed her siblings to where she and Kiel stood. "Mutti, your back!" They said happily.
Brianna lowered her head a licked her pups. "You have fared well I presume?" She said laughing at their endless antics. "Yup!" They said simultaniously.
"Thank you for taking good care of them." Bri said to Cynder. She then turned to Kiel, "I think this den will serve us well, dont you think?" She asked him looking around.

Kiel smiled. "I think it's very good." He went into the den to check it out.
Cynder turned at the sound of her brother. "Kiel!" she said, sounding relieved. "I was afraid Demise might tear you apart." She lowered her voice. "You'd better do as she says and stay on the right side of her." Then she ran out of the den to Briannia. "Like it?"

'I wonder what Demise has got against Kiel?' Brianna thought to herself, remembering the dislike she had shown for him since the begining. Then her attention turned to Cynder. "I tihnk its perfect." She replied grinning.
Faolain, Weylyn and Cana chased eachother and ran out of the den. "Be back before nightfall." Bri called after them knowing they heard her. Glancing up at the sky, she could tell it wouldnt be long before the moon would come up.

Cynder bowed her head to the alphess. She retreated a few steps, thinking hard.
Kiel looked at the den. It looked safe enough. He looked at Cynder. He supposed he'd better follow her advice.
